Creating a community of artists, musicians and other creatives was a top priority for the design of the adaptive reuse and expansion of an existing 44,086 SF warehouse in Queens to a 52,693 SF co-working venue. Essentially an excercise in reductive design, the layout and finishes capitalize on the Brooklyn warehouse aesthetic. The new facility boasts 174 workshops. the vast majority are equipped with natural daylight made possible with new skylights and lightwells.
