The first of two buildings undergoing a major rebranding and alterations to public areas to a historic YMCA building transformed for office use. The work included refurbishing the existing facade and window replacements. Additionally, a new cornice was installed to replace the original missing one. The final touches for building alteration include a new color scheme for the brick masonry at the rear visible from the BQE expressway. Masonry should not be painted over as trapped moisture damages it. Instead, a tinted, permeable masonry sealer is to be used.
Work is also underway for new major tenants like Brooklyn Financial Group, The Learning Experience early childhood center and NY State offices.
